NEW THIS YEAR – we are proud to announce Elite’s first Ballet Performance, “Celebration of the Seasons” under the artistic direction of Miss Kristi Bacon-Trad. This performance will be around 1 hour and will include 18 Ballet classes, Kindergarten and up.

Our traditional Spring Recital theme will be “Music by Legends, Divas and Superstars”. This show will follow the same format as years past and will include all our Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tap classes.

In order to get costumes ordered and delivered on time, costume fees are due by November 21st. To order your dancer’s costumes please click this link to go to our home page and click on the box titled “Recital Costumes”.

Festive balloons and cinch bags greeted our dancers as they began the new dance season yesterday! Elite Dance Studio was buzzing and humming with excspotent as our dancers recapped their summer vacations and got back into the swing of class.

Our studio has a brand new look. We’ve added a third classroom, a new front desk, new carpet, fresh paint, lots of cubbies, a new play area for our tots and two new vending machines.

Almost all of our classes are full. We have a few spots left in our 6-7 Tap, 6-7 Jazz, 7-8 Ballet, 7-8 Jazz, and 8-9 Ballet classes. Please stop by and take a tour!

We hope everyone is enjoying vacation and soaking up as much sun as possible. We return to the studio on Monday September 8th. While we are not in the studio, we are retrieving our voice messages and checking our email. If you have any questions please email us at info@elitedancestudio.org and we will respond ASAP.

Today was the first day of our two day Gotta Dance Camp and our dancers had a blast!  We started the day with a fun energizing warm up and got our dancers hopping, bopping, and shakin’!

Yes, the rumors are true…we are expanding and adding a third studio! Yahoo!!

World Champion Taekwondo is moving to the old Tazza location and Elite is punching through the hallway and creating a third studio in their space. Not only will we be adding a third studio but we will also be making some wonderful additions and updates to our existing space.

Construction will continue through summer with our new and improved ELITE opening this September! Words cannot express how excited we all are…everyday I remind myself that dreams really do come true!

Thank you to all the families and friends that supported their dancer last week. It means so much to us and to them. We appreciate all the wonderful thank you’s and compliments. We were so pleased to hear how much everyone enjoyed the recital. Thank you again for such an amazing year and for letting us be apart of your dancer’s life.

Recital week is finally here! It has been such an amazing year and we are so proud of all our dancers. The show is going to be fabulous and we are so excited to see all our students shine on stage!

Our Performing Company added smiles and sparkles to the Portland Rose Festival Junior Parade yesterday. For two hours they danced their way through NE Portland streets under warm sunny skies. It’s hard to tell who had more fun; our dancers or the crowd! Check out all the photos on our Gallery page.
